My 200th Blogpost
Honestly, I didn’t plan to still be doing this.
I started this blog in fall 2023 and my intention was to create a place where I can practice the skills to publish a website publicly and where I can think out loud.

Back then I was still processing my move from academia into the corporate world. Writing about the transition made things much clearer to mee.
I also had a lot of half-baked ideas about productivity, leadership and the tools we use to get work done. Writing them down was my way to actually figure out what I thought. That’s still a main reason I write. Not to have answers, but to figure them out.
200+ posts later, the blog looks pretty different from where it started. Early on it was scattered: books I was reading, tools I was exploring or just fighting with, leadership problems that annoyed me.
Just recently it felt that my blog was converging to something differnt. I felt the urge to restructure it and went for three main pillars:
- Personal Operating Systems
- Leadership as a System
- Tools in the Real World
That wasn’t a really a rebrand or a relaunch. It was me noticing what I’d actually been circling the whole time.
Lately I’ve been working on the LENS series (a lot of fun btw). It’s still taking shape. And I’m working through it post by post rather than publishing a finished framework. But it’s become one of the most useful things I’ve written for myself and I think it’ll keep going for a while. More on that in the coming weeks (:
The other change: I’m moving from weekly to biweekly.
Weekly was good for building the habit (both mine and yours), but it also meant some weeks I was publishing something I didn’t fully believe in just to hit the deadline. Biweekly gives me room to actually sit with ideas before they go out. The goal is fewer, better posts and not a slower blog, just a more honest one.
So, 200 feels like a fair place to pause and say: thanks for reading this far. On to the next 200.
